Ambassador Program Terms

These terms explain how the Wish Up Ambassador Program works — how referrals are tracked, how you get paid, and how you may (and may not) share Wish Up. By applying to or participating in the program, you agree to these terms.

Effective August 27, 2026 · Last updated August 27, 2026

01Who can join

The Ambassador account must be held by a parent or legal guardian who is 18 years of age or older and legally able to enter into an agreement. Kids and teens are welcome to take part as a family activity, but the account, the communications, and any payout always belong to the adult account holder.

Applications are reviewed manually. We may approve or decline any application, and we may end participation at any time (see Section 10). One Ambassador account per person and per household.

02Your referral code and link

Once approved, you receive a unique Ambassador code and a matching referral link in the form wishupkids.com/join/YOURCODE. Your code is personal to you. It may not be transferred, sold, resold, auctioned, or shared with other Ambassadors or resellers.

We may change, replace, or retire a code if it is misused, impersonates Wish Up, or conflicts with a trademark or another Ambassador.

03What a new family gets

A new family that signs up using your code receives 20% off their Wish Up membership as described at checkout. The discount applies only to new families that have not previously held a paid Wish Up membership, cannot be combined with other offers, and has no cash value.

04How you earn

You earn a $10 USD commission for each new family that (a) signs up using your code or link, (b) completes a successful paid membership payment, and (c) remains active through the holding period below.

  • Attribution is based on the code or link used at sign-up. If a family enters a different Ambassador's code, that Ambassador is credited.
  • Only the first valid referral for a given family counts. Repeat sign-ups, duplicate accounts, and re-subscriptions of an existing family do not earn a new commission.
  • Commissions are calculated on the paid membership only — not on taxes, refunds, credits, or promotional periods.
  • Commission amounts and program mechanics may change going forward; changes never reduce a commission already earned and approved.

0530-day holding period and payouts

Every commission sits in a 30-day pending period starting from the referred family’s first successful payment. This covers refunds, chargebacks, cancellations, and fraud review. After 30 days, the commission becomes approved and eligible for payout.

  • Payouts are issued manually to the payout details you provide, in USD.
  • A minimum approved balance may apply before a payout is sent; balances below the minimum roll into the next payout.
  • If a referred family refunds, charges back, or cancels during the holding period, the commission is voided.
  • You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn. We may require tax information before issuing payouts where the law requires it.
  • Unclaimed balances on accounts inactive for 12 months may be forfeited where permitted by law.

06How you may share Wish Up

Personal, honest sharing works best — and it’s what this program is built for.

  • Word of mouth: friends, family, neighbors, school and sports circles, group chats.
  • Your own social accounts: posts, stories, reels, and short videos showing how your family actually uses Wish Up.
  • A blog post, newsletter, or article you write on a site you own or are authorized to post on.
  • Community spaces where self-promotion is allowed and you follow the group's rules.
  • Parenting groups, co-ops, classrooms, and clubs — with the organizer's permission.
  • Wish Up brand assets we provide, used as provided and without alteration.

07What is not allowed

  • Paid search or pay-per-click ads of any kind, including Google, Bing, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Amazon ads.
  • Bidding on or using "Wish Up", "WishUp", "wishupkids", or misspellings in paid ads, ad copy, or display URLs.
  • Buying domains that contain or imitate the Wish Up name, or creating look-alike sites, apps, or accounts.
  • Coupon, deal, cashback, or voucher sites and extensions, and posting your code to public coupon aggregators.
  • Spam of any kind: unsolicited email or SMS blasts, bulk DMs, comment spam, forum spam, or link-dropping.
  • Self-referrals, referring your own household, or creating accounts to claim commissions.
  • Cookie stuffing, redirects, iframes, bots, automated traffic, or any attempt to manipulate attribution.
  • Claiming to be Wish Up, an employee, or an official spokesperson, or speaking on our behalf to press.
  • Making up results, guarantees, medical, educational, or financial claims about Wish Up.
  • Sharing in a way that targets children directly, or collecting kids' personal information.
  • Content that is hateful, harassing, sexual, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate for a family brand.
  • Reselling access, offering rebates or cash back on your commission, or gating the discount behind a payment.

08Disclosure and honesty

You must clearly disclose that you earn a commission whenever you share your code or link publicly. Simple, plain language is fine — for example “I’m a Wish Up Ambassador and earn a small commission when a family joins.” Place the disclosure where it’s easy to see, not buried in comments or hashtags, and follow the rules of the platform you’re on as well as applicable advertising and consumer-protection laws (including FTC endorsement guidelines in the US).

09Brand use

The Wish Up name, logo, illustrations, and artwork remain ours. You get a limited, revocable, non-exclusive permission to use the assets we provide to promote Wish Up while you are an active Ambassador. Don’t modify the logo, combine it with your own marks, or use it in a way that suggests partnership, sponsorship, or employment beyond the program.

10Suspension and termination

Either side can end participation at any time, for any reason. If we find a violation of these terms, fraudulent or self-dealt referrals, or promotion methods listed in Section 7, we may withhold or reverse pending and approved commissions, disable your code, and close your Ambassador account. Ending participation doesn’t affect your family’s regular Wish Up membership.

11Privacy

We share only what you need to track your own performance — counts, statuses, and commission amounts. You will never receive the personal information of the families who join with your code. Handle any information you do receive in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the program evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above, and continuing to participate after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13Questions

Not sure whether something is allowed? Ask us first — we’d much rather say yes than reverse a commission later. Reach us any time through the help center.
